About Mrs. Butler...

I have been teaching for the Pembroke School District since 1998.  I have taught second grade, third grade

and Special

Education.

I have lived in New Hampshire for most of my life.  I graduated from Keene State College with a degree in Elementary/Special Education and carry a certification from Penn State in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I live in Laconia with my husband, Craig, and our three cats.

My favorite subjects to teach are reading, math, and science.

I have a special love for music.  I perform with Granite State Ringers, New Hampshire's only community handbell choir.   I also volunteer at the NH Humane Society in Laconia.

I enjoy traveling and in my free time I love to hike (especially in the winter), backpack and snowshoe.  I am also the advisor for the Pembroke Hill School Outing Club, a co-curricular club created to encourage our students to get outside and try an outdoor activity they may or may have never done before.
